URMA ONG is a designer brand whose sole use of deadstock and upcycled denim allows for the creation of one-of-a-kind pieces. We see the inability to restock a particular kind of fabric as our space for creativity. Each piece is given individual attention in quality and design, and is thoughtfully crafted in New York City.
We source our fabrics wherever we can, from ¼ yard remnants to unused rolls. We strive to create with what already exists and our goal is to provide these fabrics with their 2nd life, or even the life they’ve missed out on.
The brand celebrates denim through showcasing its roots as essential to workwear and celebrates it even further by showcasing its versatility and dynamism through contemporary design.
